I’m the host, but when my friends were trying to load their saves, they had this bug too.So both of my friends are using Win 10 Pro 20H2 build 19042.867
Me and my wife bought this game to play together in co-op and it freezers everytime for the both of us and also freezers our computers so we have to reboot, if this dosnt get fixed then we will be asking for our money back because there is no point in us having it if we cant play together.
Has anyone just tried
reinstall the game? If so, did it help?
I am on Windows 10. The workaround I found so far is to create a dedicated server on my computer and assigned different ports to it. That way we don’t have to stay together all the time like in coop.
I found the instructions for the dedicated server here on the forums and I must say it’s very easy to setup, unlike most games. I’d like to share the link but I can’t, first result when you google “conan exiles dedicated server”.

my game freezes out of nowhere (happens alot , like every time i play) , last time it did it i was going to place a chest down and it just froze , i’m using windows 8.1 , single player.

We’ve passed these reports over to the rest of the team but we wanted to pop in here and ask you if you can help us out with some additional information.
What method did you use to play co-op? (Joined from steam, invited in-game, invited from Steam List, game already running?)
I have this issue only if im the host. So, basically, i’m pressing continue ->play in co-op, and after loading save, my game freezing in 3 or 4 seconds. But this save working in singleplayer.
me and my friends tested the same save file on 3 PCs , looks like the problem occurs when the host has a weak computer. not sure tho, i believe the devs can fix it in the future
