Game mode: Co-op
Type of issue: Crash
Server type: PvE
Region: Asia
Mods?: No
Edition: Steam
Bug Description:
Yesterday I started playing the game in Single Player mode, and had a lot of fun with it, no real issues at all. However, yesterday evening I wanted to try using co-op mode with a friend, so I tried continuing my save game with co-op mode enabled. The game froze almost instantly once I was in-world. No sound was audible, nothing, just a complete freeze that dominated machine and refuse to let me close out. The only way around it was to initiate a restart to force the computer to close it.
I figured it was a bug, so I tried again. This time, the game froze while on the loading screen. After trying several more times, with the game freezing either during loading or just one moment in-world, we gave up and tried playing co-op from my friends side. No issues there. Later we started a fresh co-op game on my side, again with no issues. This morning, however, I woke up and tried to continue the game my buddy and I started on my side last night, and once again, it froze on the loading screen. This is my first time playing Exiles, and I am otherwise enjoying it. Please help!
Steps to Reproduce:
Already listed in my explanation of the problem. Start a new game in single player or co-op, play for a while, then later close out, and try continuing the game later.
Hi, i am experiencing a similar problem here in EU west. When creating the game and inviting a friend it will load the screen (for my friend) until it gives error. It is weird since this game seems a coop game but it does not work.
If you know how it can be solved please let us know.
I’m having the same issue. I can verify those steps in original post to reproduce the issue.

All softwares and drivers are up to date.
Game files have validated multiple times.
sfc /scannow run multiple times and finds no issues.
chkdsk has been run and finds no issues with any of my drives.
I’m able to create a .DMP file for ConanSandbox from Task Manager but I’m having difficulty opening them. The program WhoCrashed is telling me it may be due to the dump files being corrupt. Guidance here would be awesome.
Bug description:
For me the problem seemed to start over night. I was playing co-op for hours with a friend about 3 days prior and then when we tried to go back to it, hard freeze. I’ve been experiencing the hard freezes when loading into a saved game, in co-op, ever since. The game never actually errors out. Even after letting it sit for extended periods of time which results in no bug report that can be sent.
I do not believe mods are at fault. I have no mods installed and a fresh install of the game yet the problem persists. The fact that a new game can be started in co-op and runs flawless leads me to believe something happens to the save game file that breaks co-op functionality. Loading any saved game into co-op causes the hard freeze. Other games run fine on my system which makes me believe the issue is isolated to Conan Exiles.
Steps to reproduce:
Start a new game in either co-op or single player
Play game for any amount of time
Exit out of game to desktop
Restart game
Continue or load into previous saved game with co-op activated.

If anyone knows if there is a way to run a debug mode while loading in, I’m more than willing to attempt to get some data towards this issue. I buy games to play in multiplayer and Conan Exiles is normally first choice but not when things like this happen.
I just spent the entire day playing in co-op logged into my friends game without any issues.
I was trying to see if it might give me a crash and an error I could reference in case it would be related but to my surprise, it ran pretty good.
Had to exit to main menu because my friend had to go so I decided to try loading into my game with co-op activated. Hard freeze as soon as the character loads in. That being said, it’s beginning to appear that it’s something to do with my PC.
I’m going to attempt using my fiancee’s PC to host a co-op and see how it goes.
