As best I can tell combat situations are causing player disconnects. I have long thought that there is some lag condition over the internet caused by the targeting agro between players and NPCs. There have always been strange skips in the animations during combat. This evening many players experienced disconnects in the area of a purge trying to help the afflicted clan. A lot was lost of what would have been preventable in the past. Recently, I have disconnected several times while fighting a world boss on my own. Something is very wrong. I have also run into this problem in the maelsrom. Always while fighting something. Under maelstorm conditions when I am able to relog the beasts will have vanished and my thrall and I will be standing alone. During this purge and while fighting a world boss that is not the case. The NPC will still be there and my thrall fighting them.
