Bug Description:
impossible to kill the enormous boar
Bug Reproduction:
Get to the rocks bordering the barren lands, kill dozens of boars (I left the pg and Freya there to farm every respow while I minded my own crap on Human Once) but nothing the boar with the skull ever appears
I will post a screen for each boar I kill remembering that I have three hours of farming ahead of me
there was a decent archer you ruined it with a ■■■■■■ quest, you suck

Yes there are buildings around the passage leading to the desert lands.
On my server I found another player with the same problem.
The boar with a skull never appears
On the other side towards the north above the Den there is a boar with a skull but Freya abandons you before you get there, they have a ■■■■■■ schedule
Now I’ve turned everything off I’ve broken my ovaries; I’ll try again after Tuesday maybe some Funcom scheduler will spill coffee on the server and fix everything
Based on your screenshots, you’re not even where the guaranteed elite boar spawns. Don’t rely on the random spawns. There’s two guaranteed spawns: one that’s south of Devil’s Squat, but you can’t actually reach that one. The other is the one you need to go to. Yeah, exactly. Plenty of boar spawns about and not impossible to kill at all - with preparation (as with all greater creatures). Am already looking at a second Freya recruitment cycle. The only issue I got was what appeared to be an order of collection for the rare items - it seemed Ms Freya was a little picky (pun intended) about what she wanted first, second, etc.

Freya starts talking about the boar’s presence from here, I kill the first one nothing happens
Continuing on towards the passage leading to The Shattered Basin I encounter a second boar but again without a skull
Above the pass it is not possible to go because there is a base that invariably resets the decay count to zero when the decay expires. practically no fu**ing use for that base.
If you or your thralls kill the boar, you don’t get credit. Made that mistake myself the first run through. You have to let Freya do the killing.

The thrall is passive, the problem is that the boar spawn with the skull is obstructed by a base.
I keep killing the boars below in the hope that that 0.01% chance there will be a respow with the skull.
There would be the boar the one above the Den which is a fixed respow with the skull but Freya doesn’t follow you up there…
that almost made me spit my coffee at the monitor 
. imagine thats the way for funcom to fix their game?! just throw coffee at it!
also if its any consolation. that quest is the one that made me give up on conan exiles
@ikya I am glad for you that you are back; I never stopped playing.
I think limiting a quest mob to a single egg deposit is very superficial, especially if, at least on official servers, you don’t control respow areas. Here the boar mini-boss will never spawn because there is a base on it and if in the case (I haven’t checked) I spawn in the barren lands, Freya will never follow me because as soon as you set foot in the water of The Shattered Basin she says goodbye and leaves…
