I was progressing Freya quest line until the point where she asked me to meet me in the Volcano dungeon in front of the forge. When i got there she was standing there telling me if im ready to go but only the Goodbye option was available. How can i fix this part for the quest to progress.
Any workarounds to get passed it?
Just went through this a few minutes ago. If while you’re still there; you see Freya respawn while she’s still following you. Run away up the ramp until she stops following you. Then go back and speak to the respawned Freya. This time, upon running up to the forge it triggered the next part.
she is not following me.
She is standing in front of the forge waiting for me to tell her let’s go but she only has the Goodbye option to end the dialog. So whatever i do it does not offer me the possibility to tell her to follow me and do the quest step.
She is like:
Are you ready to go ?

Goodbye.
Ahh, ok. I didn’t run into that issue. Once I cleared the two snake men near her I was able to get her to follow me by speaking to her. But upon clearing the 1 skull guy in center as well as the two snake men to the right side of where she was standing; it was stuck. Hence my comment about follow/abandon, pick up respawn Freya.
The only other possibility I could think of with her not following you… Is if someone else recently did it. When I did it last night, I was with a friend who was also on the same part. Only one of us could get her to follow. With just the “goodbye” option for the other. In this case it was me. He was able to complete it, and since it was late, we planned to go back today and get mine done.
You could always try to speak to her again back at her hovel and see if it has the dialogue options or back at the volcano if the time has passed enough.
Sorry if this isn’t more help. Just trying to think of anything to help.
tried that it does not talk with you it only says Returning home over her head sadly
I had a problem with her not showing up but it turns out i could get the next step talk at the campfire before the cooldown from the previous step was done. Once I logged on the next day the problem for me was fixed after I talked to her again at her campfire.
I feel for you. This was an issue in Beta, so it is zero surprise the issue still exists.

I got the exact same issue.
at the volcano, freya dont follow me she is standing near the forge at the corner upstairs in “returning home” status u can only reply “good bye”.
i already waited 2 full 8h course and no changes.
This is going on for me as well. I had to go to work and so I left her hanging. I’m wondering if it’s a time thing where she is heading home. I’m going to go back to the hotel after server restart tomorrow and see if I can relaunch the quest
