Funcom Response to Blue Ranger?

False, some of us are also day 1 ea players and have collected legacy thralls and gear which are gone forever and cannot be replaced.

Not what I was talking about. Read what @AnyGamer wrote, what @Xevyr replied, and what I replied to @Xevyr.

will simply depend if people victims of this new hack post massively or not asking for a rollback

only thing i know is that in past they only rolled back when people were complaining and asking in mass to rollback, but in case of such abuse of an hacker (well a small group) on lot of pve servers in short period, a rollback is the only solution, and will also send the msg to those who did that that they lost their time, otherwise, welcome in hell for the future of conan official

Well, exactly
And as @CodeMage eloquently says ā€œWTFā€?
Last time on Official was 5 weeks post 1.0 Launch and once again last year to demo game to someone - longest 20 minutes ever.
Private servers? Thank you!

Actually I did throw them all away. Nice super detailed 1/72 scale WW1 scouts, fully rigged. Days of work. I made them to make them not to display them.

Once a year :slightly_smiling_face:

But I’ve hit level cap and know everything, If I had just started out and was still leveling and learning I’d be real upset to lose it all and have to start from scratch.

I came to Conan from Ark (along with a big group from Ark) the day Conan realeased in early access. The value has always been for me in official, even with the bugs and occassional issues that come up I’ve always loved this game. Played PVP/PVC/PVE on official and dedicated servers. The big trade off for me is that private servers come and go, some of the best ones we played on would still ghost into your base while you’re offline to see how you do things, and as a player I would feel obligated to cater to the server owner’s/ admins personality quirks. I prefer to just play my game and enjoy myself without any of that. Officials offer no drama, just a good time if that’s what you want as a player.

I’m happy for other players that have a playstyle different than mine and enjoy playing their way; but please don’t tell me I’m playing wrong because it’s different than what you want.

The only way you are playing wrong is if you are not having fun. As long as you are having fun you are doing it right! :+1:

That being said I absolutely despise the official servers. BUT that does not mean that I want them to go away or that I think anyone else is wrong for choosing them, I just do not like them for ME.

Exactly. Vote with your feet (fingers?) :upside_down_face:

I will add a followup response that I finally opened a report ticket through Zendesk, and my ticket was inexplicably closed without a response back.

GG Funcom!

Also, @Mortifatality is a great guy. I’ve been on his server and benefitted from his free horse and tools, it makes me sad to know that he is effectively being bullied on his server without any recourse being taken.

@RitualGround

Dear Ritual you said that hacking was a top priority for zendesk people, can you explain us why this customer ticket have been closed without response while he was reporting the hack he has been victiom ? do zendesk closed the ticket because they issued a ban to the little group of people that did that ? and don’t you think you own a rollback to all servers where it has happened as you did for pvp server few years ago when their was the giant toon hack that wrecked several server (because the loose of an alt account that they can buy for few cents has no mean for them, but to make them understand they lost their time for nothing can have an effect)

@ruinous please state your ticket number so Ritual (hopefully) can look at it with zendesk people.

Back in the day, when I was learning how to do landscapes with terragen I was a forum mod. Yes I have been a moderator.

One day the devs did an update that broke the app for quite a few people. With in no time the forum was flooded with posts about it, thread after thread with practically identical titles. First I start merging, and people would repost, so then I locked and linked, and people got upset. So I started handing out 24 hour time outs like Mardi Gras beads.

Could be auto closing reports because they are already swamped and adding to the stack does not help.

Since November 22, have we heard of anything that’s been done with any of the reports, other than to close them?

You mean a week ago.
Ask Kikigirl how long it takes funcom to actually respond to a hack report.

My experience with zendesk is I get an acknowledgement in 24 hours.
A month later I get a ā€œhope it solved it’s selfā€ closed.

Over and over funcoms biggest issue is an almost complete lack of communication. Maybe it’s because I have actually alpha and betaed for years and am used to a lot more interactive communication with the developers/community managers.

yup its what i think too, but in this case they need to realize it, because the auto closing without msg is a problem. the usual automated msg they sent you when case closed is something like,’ our team finished enquiry, and action have been took in regards of tos, ticket closed", but if now they auto close without saying anything…

and they still need to communicate on this hacker event, or more precisely on what they will do for people that have been victims on servers hit by that.

They make very good games. But they are terrible at dealing with the public. Why isn’t there a manager who talks to us, jokes with us and makes us feel like he’s with us?

Moreover, it is very natural and correct that such events have pages full of the same titles. It shows how bad the situation is!!! It is wrong to close this and combine it. just under one heading as if it were not important at all?

I noticed that I spend time on the forum all the time. It’s time to take a break. I don’t want you to miss me. You continue to fight Funcom. I’ll watch some Christmas movies.

At one time I was one of the top 10 posters. I quite because one day there was no less then 6 funcom reps of some sort arguing with; not the player base because the game has none, people about pineapple on pizza.
That is when I said flock that shirt and quit it.

THAT is when I truly felt like the foster kid in the basement. I walked up the stairs and peeked in to see funcom having a pizza party with the new kids.

that simply means that some poeple are not doing their job, the old team was doing it, but they are now on dune, personally with what i saw happening on conan for more than 2 years, the only conclusion i can have is, is the line producer is managing his team or do he take care of its flowers in the garden ?

because you know what ? there is someone that is paid as line producer to take care of conan. and as line producing is my job in another industry i know from where is the problem. so mr line producer with probably hundred of players that lost all their gameplay to a hacker group, what is your action and communication ? may be look to what have been done in past.

Right. All servers are wide-open to the new hack, if reports are accurate.
