I was crashed out of the server several times this weekend. When I returned this morning half my thralls are missing with no explanation in server history and I was dead naked with no explanation as to cause. I’m an experienced player and if you could see my bed location, this was not from another player. Hacking maybe or server issue?
You were the vicitm of BlueRangerTM…dude was hopping Official Servers with admin console and destroyed a lot of stuff.
Not sure if Zendesk or Funcom put an end to it already, but since it is just a substitute account anyway, the actual low life won’t be banned.
And apparently the admin access is easy to get hold of, so get used to it.

Illegal deletion with admin rights? This is disgusting, this is a big deal. also loss of prestige.
This is an event that will shake Funcom’s prestige. If you promise pve; You promise people their security. none of us are safe. What kind of pve concept is this?
They must punish this terrible thing in the harshest way possible. If the person who did it is obvious, they should be reprimanded for tarnishing the brand’s prestige. I’m talking about the legal process. must pay compensation.

I’m really not under the delusion that FUNCOM’s “prestige” is anybody’s concern after the last year and more, including most FUNCOM employees.
But this issue should be a breach with ZENDESK. They administer their official servers, if I’m not mistaken here. So any leak or infomrmation “hack” is on them.

They’ve already (easily) identified their regular account. Some are even doxxing where they live. Funcom’s refusal to communicate any stance on the issue is losing players every day.
I play on pvec 1516. Some of my structures were destroyed, all thralls (including crafters) at my main base were killed, player character killed inside base, and storages destroyed/ vacuumed. I traced it back to ‘Blue Ranger’ on pvp 1530. this guy has access to admin level cheats and went on a spree this weekend on pve/ pvec servers. I am one of his victims. From what I’ve seen 2 of his alts are server: pvp 1530/ char: Skrillex/ funcom id: 123#17207, and server: pvp 1530/ char: Skrillexxx/ funcom id: 123#77695. Both of the accounts I witnessed personally and they both have a steam level of 0. I don’t know what his main account is
He admitted to it in global chat and I have the receipts. He claims “Things went to far” (sic), “I am sorry ya’ll”, “I’m going back to PVE to kill your horses!”. When I asked him why he hacked pve servers (he refers to everything non-pvp as pve) he responded that he was coming back “with new surprises and gifts to the pve community”, “I will be seeing all of you real soon”, and “I made it safer on pvp than pve”. A bunch of comments about “RIP PVE”, and “yall some pve chickens. play a real mans game and go to pvp”.
Another player on pvp 1530 informed me that he is trying to frame some legit player that also goes by a variant of skrillex on 1530, but I haven’t confirmed it. I sincerely hope Funcom admins track down his main and ip ban him since he can just create as many alts as he wants with the admin level cheats active.

Yeah, those taunts are pretty rich. Official PVP has been unplayable forever because of hacking.
Yep servers were hacked last 3 days… Why cant they set up a admin admin verification to call a phone number through a game… Security people security…

not neccesarely, since you can always brute force your way to a password, but it is way easier to just “get” the password or the access from a not so careful and secure person.
There might even be other ways to gain admin level privileges, but then they might just give everybody admin rights, because their security measures are like drawing water with a sieve.
If he is a good hacker they wont will find he alone they will need help from the police to search from where he is doing it because any hacker know how to hide everything also punishing he account wont will hurt he since he can buy or made any account just hacking.
They need to search how he is doing it and try change and block any other way from he attemp from hack after it they shall listen everybody have lose bases thralls items and try do give back what they lose rollbacking the servers affected.
And for last they will need make a huge apology maybe giving some crom coins for every play back and stay playing online aleast for 1 week after all get solved.
