Funcom, please roll back the official servers

Not much to say here. Too many players have lost their pets and thralls. I haven’t, but I don’t care, you need to do a rollback this time.

Pinging the @Community managers to try to make sure this post is seen by Funcom.

There is no excuse not to this time. The nemedian foundations issue might have been difficult to revert but this one is certainly not.

Agreed. I saved my thralls on all three of my servers simply because I happened to log into them last night and early this morning after the news came out. All those who didn’t do what I did got completely screwed. It’s a bummer.

It’s like funcom is trying to write the rulebook on losing its fanbase.

@Community During the last incident/error? Your response was completely inappropriate.

I really hope for a return to the past for the servers, our comrades EXile love this game and try to keep it going (notably with their purchases of DLC and baitaille passes).
not allowing them to find all of their enslaved NPCs as well as the equipment that they had on them and a total lack of respect.
we want to excuse a bug error and other inconvenience, but I find that it starts to cause a lot of errors (?) later; please Funcom give us back the trust we have placed in you.

Kinda doubt they would. If their server admins are based in NC, its Labor Day weekend, they won’t be back in till Tuesday.

UPDATE: For anyone who hasn’t seen it, there was an official confirmation that this was a mistake.

Also, they’re rebooting the server I’m playing on right now (or will be in 10 minutes, according to the in-game popup). Looks like a much faster response than we’re used to.

I saw the same answer on Twitter, surprisingly very can to report the problem to FunCom, without saying Bétise ours ours it early in debut after lid

Looking forward to seeing what the result is. Let us know if you see anything come of it. I’m at work right now so I can’t check for myself.

Thank you. I haven’t kept an eye on every thread.

Honestly this is a better response than I hoped for, kind of assumed they would wait until Monday.

The reboot of the server I play on is complete. I logged in and saw the thrall decay time was set to 10 days. No rollback yet. However, another reboot has been announced (via in-game popup) just now.

If a rollback occurs I will lose all the progress on the server I just started on. Everyone still has their equipment and inventory and the means to get more thralls; if a roll back happens I will lose everything.

That goes both ways. After rollback you will still have the means to get all the stuff you got over the last 24 hours. :man_shrugging:

And for you it’s just 24 hours, whereas some people lost hundreds of hours of effort.

I have been playing since day 1 and I have armours and weapons that have gone, I spent a week farming just one named thrall. I have lost over 100 T4 thralls. With over 75% lvl20. If they don’t roll back then age of war 2 is pointless.

Sadly, no rollback this time, either. Let’s hope they’ll reconsider once they get a hold of someone high enough up the food chain…

Welp, there it is. This is probably the end of discussion until Monday:

Is anyone even suprised about this?

this is ridiculous how this happened a roll back should happen because losing hundreds of hours of getting good thralls and the equipment they had because of a bug is honestly depressing
