Logged in after new age of heroes and everything is gone. Not just my thralls but everything all 5 bases are gone. I was only offline for 3 days. Then i was standing there naked took everything on my person too. And i play in PVE so i didnt get blown up by other players. So mad all that time just gone
Sounds like you were reported and the admins decided to wipe you. If that’s the case, you’re also getting a suspension, which will become active on next server reboot.
Sucks when it happens.
never heard about the armor and personal inventory being taken by an admin wipe
Wrong server?
Seriously you may want to hold funcom accountable but I don’t think this is a funcom thing.
If you’re logged out for several days and an admin wipes your base, you’ll be left out in the open. Even on PVE, that could result in character death, from mobs attacking or from simple exposure.
Don’t know if that’s what happened or not. Seeing the event log would help.
What’s in the logs? If its an admin wipe it should be there destroyed by admin.
Maybe someone used the new purge exploit and wiped your base and you. Happened to me some time ago…
if it is an admin wipe, it will say “lost stability”
But the part of the character death would be in the logs stating the reason, as Codemage said
For me it was deleted by admin but it was two years ago after the deleted by admin I had one single log with lost stability.
Interesting because thats not what happened to me.
I had all my inventory ,and equipment.
Only the base was gone- and someone else is in that same spot BTW.
My suspension was my name and not the clan.
My kid checked and was able to login with their account and the clan name was still there.
This is not okay.
@Community @den @AndyB - can someone please address this?
They made it clear some months ago how they wipe now. Perhaps you’ve been wiped with deferent system.
Now the Zendesk admin downloads the data of your server in his pc to examine offline . He confirms the violation and sends the report to costumer services. The costumer services decide for the Zendesk admins actions and if this decision is wipe, then the admin again download the data of your server to his pc, to wipe you offline. On the next server restart the wipe appears!
So i believe that CodeMage is correct, if the op had only 3 days to log in, then his body was still visible, another player of the server may passed from his area bringing mobs or npcs with him, the rest is history.
Another scenario would be, the op to have in his inventory the reason he got wiped, so the admin wiped his inventory too.
We ain’t virgins in here!
Admin wipes don’t need to be done while the server is offline. They just don’t need to login to the server to do it either. They can affect a live online server in real time.
The suspension happens on restart since its a modification of the blacklist.txt file that restricts access. Which is only applied on server boot.
I said that?
I believe I said that the admin does them offline .
While they do check a copy of the map on their own machines. Once they make a determination, they execute a command on the online server’s database which destroys the buildings of the target clan.
That image shows the results of such from an online player’s point of view.
Oh, now i got it, thanks!
The funny thing is, about an hour before that, a naked level 10 guy from Norway showed up.
He got beat up by the blue skeletons. I helped him, gave him weapons and armor, and continued building my new base, which was later deleted.
Probably just a coincidence, but still pretty funny.
But as I said, that was a while ago. I have no idea how it works now. I’m sure a lot has changed. That was definitely the age before the ages
Why would the admins wipe all my stuff? Its ok though i am really enjoying playing ESO way better than conan.
If one or more other players on the server reported you for breaking the server rules, the standard procedure is for Funcom admins to investigate those reports and, if they decide that you did break the rules, wipe your clan’s buildings and apply a temporary suspension or a permanent ban.
However, I’m not saying that’s what happened for sure. I said it might have been that. If you try to log in and are suspended, then that’s what happened. If you’re not suspended, you can look in your event log and share it with the rest of us players to try to figure out what happened.
