Game Crashing on startup

I need help.

I am getting different error messages when I launch Conan Exiles, I’ve re-verified my files and they are fine and yet I still can’t get on to even look at what servers are available to join. Sometimes the crash happens just after I press ‘Launch’ from the Funcom portal.

What is the solution? I didnt have any problems prior to the last update this past week.

I have screen shots of the error messages.

  1. Open File Explorer.
  2. Right Click on “This PC”
  3. Choose Properties
  4. Select Advanced System Settings
  5. Select Environment Variables
  6. Select New under System Variables
  7. Enter the following:
    Variable name: OPENSSL_ia32cap
    Variable value: ~0x200000200000000
  8. Hit Okay
    This has worked for a few people I have helped also.
