Bug Description:

Game crashes to desktop without error immediately after launch.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Start game from xbox app
  2. Select “conan exiles”
  3. Splash screen loads
  4. Game tries to open a window, sound plays for a fraction of a second (sounds like wind or waves or something), CTD with no error

Windows is updated
Nvidia drivers up to date
Geforce experience uninstalled
No third party AV
Game is installed on D:, Windows on C:
Ryzen 3600, B550, 32GB, RTX3070, Windows 10 Pro 20H2
Reviews in the gamepass app seem to indicate others with exactly the same issue.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are experiencing issues with the Gamepass version of the game at the moment. And, we are in ongoing communication with MS to try to solve it.

In the meantime, the workaround we can suggest is that you install the game in the C: drive.
