Game doesn't launch correctly. It never opens; Causes my pc to crash from eating all my memory if BattleEye is activated

Bug Description:

Game doesn’t Open. Not Launcher nor EXE. Computer Crashes a few minutes after.

Installed Mods:

None

Steps to Reproduce:

I downloaded game
I opened the launcher
launcher says “hi would you like to install battle eye”?
I said yes.
I click the launch icon. Icon spins, nothing happens.
5 minutes later, my pc freezes and I restart.
I verify file integrity and did some fix where people told to add a system variable.
Nothing changed, I just opened the game, nothing really ‘opens’ 10 minutes later my pc crashes.

Conan does appear in my Task Manager but does nothing besides taking more and more of my memory.

If I open without battle eye, the memory consuption is stuck at 117.0 MB. Still doesn’t start.

My PC is running Windows 10
AMD Ryzen 7 1700X
16 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER

Have you tried running it directly from the exe instead of the launcher?

\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Binaries\Win64

Set it in video game settings to low end laptop mode.

Opening the game from the .exe changes nothing. Both for the ‘offline’ and the battle eye version.

How do I do that without being able to get into the main menu of the game?

When the launcher starts, go to the cogwheel in the lower right corner and uninstall Battleye first, then close the launcher. Then let Steam check your files.
Then start the launcher again and install battleye.
A friend of mine had this problem and we were able to solve it.
