With the game constantly losing connection almost every time you get in a battle it’s become almost impossible to play the game. It’s like the game can’t handle you fighting multiple enemies at once and just kicks you out, and it will not let you back in until your thrall has killed almost, or all, of the near by enemies. I never had this issue until Chapter 3 rolled out.

I almost lost everything I had, including irreplaceable items I had gotten from server transfer on PlayStation last night. My thrall had the Lovetap… he didn’t survive the purge. It’s pretty bad.

I was reading previous topics and it’s already been brought to their attention. Funcom responded to someone about the issue 22 days ago, and they still haven’t fixed it. It’s happening to lots of people on every platform. Xbox, PC, Playstation. everyone is having same issue. they are going to lose players fast if they don’t do something. It’s been going on since February for lots of players. It started with Chapter 3 update for me. I had to reinstall the game to get it to work after update.

Yeah, we lost 2 thralls during a hyena purge because we both got kicked and our thralls only had truncheons on them. The only solution I can think of now is to put all my thralls around the perimeter of my base, let them deal with the purge and not engage myself

Yeah, it’s the worst when you get killed while you’re offline because you got kicked right in the path of a 3 skull boss. That’s how I almost lost everything, and it was a given that my thrall wasn’t going to survive. It said I couldn’t even summon my body after several failed attempts to get back into the server to get my stuff. I barely got it all back because the purge ended before the time ran out on my corpse (despite being told I had no corpse to summon from a circle of power). I decided to go back when my friend said it was still there next to him after he FINALLY got back in himself. I happened to luck out. Others likely weren’t so lucky.

Not to minimize the issue, but it does not happen to everyone on pc. I only experienced disconnects on the first weekend and then nothing since. That leads me to believe there is a subtlety to the problem that is hard to patch with certainty, and it takes a while to get console patches thru cert so just swinging at a permanent fix is not good practice. You can be certain tho that they are working on it.
Same for me i play on a series x mostly i crash in fights whit the red mother in siptha when my npc gets mashed underground but on all other places i not was have crashes

I haven’t played on Siptah in a long time, but I crash everywhere on Exiled Lands. I just upgraded from an Xbox One X to a Series X and it made no difference. I crashed twice still, once in the Executioners Cave when he made a lunge at me, and he second when I was in the middle of a combo swing at a low level sorcerer on my way back to base. It’s frustrating.
I’m only judging the PC issue on the other comments I’ve read on different threads. If they fixed it on PC than that’s great, maybe they isolated the issues and a fix for console is coming soon. But from the comments I’ve seen people have been complaining about it for a month.
I do think it happens to some pc users. I’m just pointing out that for some its fine and for others not which makes it difficult to find root cause. They may think theyve fixed it only to find another scenario where it still happens. That already happened for example. In my case, it was fixed with the first patch but for others it wasnt. Consoles are stickier because they could fix it piecemeal on pc but consoles have the cert process that each patch has to go thru, so I’m sure theyd much rather aggregate more scenarios before they go thru that rigamarole.
happens a lot in pc… check their forums just the main page got 7 diferent threads about it and the first one is more then 12 times bigger than this one…
