Really? He does? Let’s see. In this thread, he explained that “View Distance” in Unreal Engine 4 does not refer to render distance. I personally haven’t worked with UE4 – my stint in game dev industry was short and we used Lumberyard – but I went and googled it and what do you know, he was right: Set View Distance Quality | Unreal Engine Documentation
Render distance is configured differently: How do I make a Render Distance / Draw Distance? - Rendering - Epic Developer Community Forums
As for your claim about BattlEye causing your BSOD, you do know we can search the forums, right? Here’s what he told you to do:
And here’s your response:
All I see in that thread is someone who helped you fix your problem. I don’t see anyone confirming that problem was caused by BattlEye. I’m not going to accuse you of lying – like you accused him – but I am going to point out that you threw out a serious accusation without backing it up with any evidence whatsoever.
Stalk much, dude? For your information, everyone asks for help. Even professional game developers working in AAA studios ask for help. Despite having more than 20 years of experience as a software engineer, I still occasionally ask a question on StackOverflow.
@Multigun does not work for Funcom. When someone who works for Funcom posts on these forums, there are very obvious visuals indicating that. There’s a cyan border around each of their posts, and a topic that has received a reply from Funcom staff also has a “Dev Reply” icon next to it:

That said, even if he did work for Funcom, asking for help would be perfectly normal. Come on over to our side of the fence and do some serious programming without ever asking for help from anyone. Then you’ll earn the right to attack others for doing so.
Honestly, after so much uninformed and entitled vitriol, I’m really astonished that @Multigun keeps hanging around these forums.
And before certain other salty fans of echo-chambers jump in to point out how @Multigun can be abrasive and Funcom tolerates that, if you don’t like his tone, flag him. That’s what flags are for. Despite my respect and admiration for him, I personally flagged some of his posts where I thought his tone wasn’t appropriate for these forums, because that’s how you do it. You don’t do it through vicious personal attacks.
