Get mighty pets broken now ? over 16 sabres no 1 mighty

I wanted to ask whether there are new features or whether the system is broken again? I have now tamed 16 Sabretooths and put them in the armoered animal pen. not a single mighty sabretooth. the same with wolves, lynx

Did you use the food that gives the best chance to get the greater version?

Only one greater saber ( bevore 2.3)

Atm 40 babys later nothing, we tried it with normally spawn babys and from the surge, nothing.

Panther cub´s are fine, 4 cub´s from a surge, get two mighty.

Same with normal elephant babys from the surge, 5 babys, one mighty, 4 normal

Maybe the sabers are broken

Nope, not broken. Just RNG.

Wow that looks amazing, where do you get the cubs and what food is better for getting a greater one?

one of 40 seems more broken than rng ^-^

I checked. It’s just RNG. The same tables that sets the chance for all other pets in the game is the same one used by the Sabrecat. There is no script that says “work for everything else, but don’t work for Sabrecats.” :stuck_out_tongue:

I was using just the basic animal training pen six or so months ago and having the same bad luck. Upgraded to the Armored pen and got three in next batch. RNG? Correlation and not Causation. Who knows?

i try all 3 animal pens with baby animals from surges, also try pens from emberlight…

we got :
1 mighty tiger
2 mighty wolves
3 mighty shaleback´s
1 black rhino
1 mighty rhino
2 mighty panthers
0 mighty Sabercats…

so i go back to other cat´s, i give up…

I can confirm that After 2.3 getting greater pets require a lot more babys then it used to. From 68 locusts i have only got 2 Queens. When before 2.3 from from 32 locusts i got 14 Queens.

I don’t know if it is just rng. Before 2.3 i would still sometimes Tame 2-3 greater pets out of 5, 12 times full Animal Pen and it got me 2 queens within 2 days of eachother, so i used around 30 locusts inbetween.

Edit: i play Siptah.

hm we play on siptah too, we got 1 queen out of 9 locusts, we only use the emberlight animal pen ( the others ones are a way to big…)

and still no greater saber ^^
