God shield seems to stay forever - what are the rules

is there any information about how the shield works?

  1. how long is it? 36h ingame or 36h real time? is it that long in SP as well?
  2. are there any timers influencing this ? e.g. spoil timer?
  3. is there any option to forcefully disable/close it? e.g. a console command?
  4. has the building abandonment any influence on this?
