Gold vein Rocknose

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
1.Put Pebblenose in Animal Pen
2.Add 1 gold dust per pebblenose
3.Wait
4.No Gold vein Rocknose

So this isn’t my first go around making gold vein rocknose, but I have been trying recently and so far I am 0-10 on succeeding at this. Is this a new bug, or am I just very unlucky? There’s supposed to be a 20% chance of success, but 0-10 = 0%.

They’ve always been TOO rare. I’ve never got 20% from 25 or even more, but something about 10-13% max.

It’s not a bug , they were always rare to obtain I have 2 pens of silver , and 2 pens of gold rocknoses , it took me at least 100 eggs with shadespiced gold dust , and 100 more eggs with shadespiced silver dust to have it all together , I gave a lot of the normal rocknoses to new player that asked for help , and kept 2 pens of normal rocknoses for the iron . It takes some time and resources but in the end it’s doable

Okay thanks. I guess a few months ago when I did it i was lucky. I was getting 1-3 out of 5. Thanks everybody for the replies.

The wiki says Plain gold dust has a higher chance, so I went with that. I’ve always had good luck with it till now.
