Greater Sabercat Losing Health on Obelisk Jump

As title says, I have multiple Greater Sabercats, with the DLC armor skins on them. THey lose around 3000-4000 life when fast traveling through some of the obelisks. They have a base health pool of around 8500 +- normally at full life. Take a port, get there, and poof they are instantly around 4400-4800 life immediately on other side of jump without getting hit.

I’ve tried this with 4 different greater sabers, and each of the 10 jump locations. It only seems to affect them when they are at full life, and at only about 4 or 5 of the jump locations (some seem to work fine).

It’s rather annoying to get to a dungeon w a pet ready to go, and boom he’s at 55% life immediately before he ever gets hit.

With people, it’s easy to fix the messed up health bar when you log in. Just eat something and it snaps back. Unfortunately, that doesn’t work on the pets and there is no fix I’ve found other than to wait the hour or so for him to get the life back 1-tick at a time.


Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Log in
  2. Have greater sabercat in DLC skin with full life follow you
  3. Use maproom to make jump to (some) obelisks
  4. Check to see if he got lucky and showed up with full life or 55% life.

Do you keep food on them so they can heal faster?

They always have food on them, but I’m not sure it makes them heal any faster then if they don’t (I’ve never noticed any difference).

Sort of off-point though. Point was to report a clear bug where they lose 45% of their health instantly during fast travel to some of the obelisks.
