Bug Description:
All of the “Grey ones” just punch now. They don’t use any weapons. Also the Tcho Tcho war paint dissappears after a while on thralls at least.
Bug Reproduction:
Fight any of the “Grey ones”. Also just put the Tcho Tcho war paint on a thrall and wait. (I know these are unrelated but both are Siptah and I don’t see a reason to make two reports for these.)
Skeletons on EL and Siptah randomly suffer the same, even bosses, so it affects both maps without any mods.
Modded maps that re-use vanilla mobs have the same problem of course.
A modder attempted to fix it, but could not fix all mobs everywhere so this really requires Funcom. Maybe if in the next dev stream they go and fight skeletons…
One way to trigger this on the regular undead enemies such as wights (at least in Klael’s) is to aggro them and run out of their range, they’ll return to their posts or general area with their weapons put away. This works on the 3 skull wights as well, such as the Gatekeeper.
This will persist past leaving the dungeon for at least half an hour, never bothered to check past that point. The grey ones however i never see with weapons drawn anymore.
I don’t know about aggroing and resetting; the ones I’m talking about have no weapon on the first pull, they literally spawn without a weapon and stay that way until death, then maybe they’ll respawn with a weapon.
Either way it’s months old, since the beginning of current chapter.
Exactly what everyone is saying. It is the same with the “first men”. I hadn’t been on siptah for a whie so i had no clue this was an ongoing thing. I am glad it is not just me, but you know kinda stops fights being well fights.
