It appears some servers are getting roll-backs of 1-2 days. I logged in to some objects that had disappeared and fully gone on benches yesterday with instead now a fresh loot bag in its place. Additionally, the two crafters i had placed as a test are back in their crafting benches as items. The well i had placed also gone of course, so definitely a rollback.
At least, this is the case right now for Xbox EU server 2002. Just a heads up.
Yes, 2002 got a rollback which my immediate neighbour might not like because of major building overhaul setback 
. But I got two thralls back and will not place them again, yay! But as this server instance was quite shaky the last few weeks I doubt there is hope for others and there was another reason…
You’re right, 2017 for example has still my one alchemist wandering around. So no rollback happened there.
I’ve seen no announcement on this. Is there notification of these rollbacks somewhere like on Discord or some social media?
Hasn’t been one. #1727 was down for a day, came back up rolled back.
Not an official or planned thing it seems. Looks like some servers are just taking a dump on the restart progress or when they get taken offline/crash, resetting to the previous compatible state.
It is a busy server that i am on, so i guess it’s all just a bit too much.
I’ve been through so many of these updates, but this last mess is just a bridge too far for me. All my desire to continue playing has left me. All my friends who used to play but quit are laughing at me for hanging in there all these years. I lost a bunch of named thralls I’d had with me for years, and it’s silly of me, I know, but it hurt.
Nah it’s understandable. In a game where ‘legacy’ thralls and items are a thing losing them due to no fault of your own is unacceptable, especially considering the past year that led up to all this.
I personally have no such thing in this game except a storage crate of excess esoteric library schematics from way back when you had to keep rolling the dice to get what you want.
But i am annoyed just seeing this all happen nonetheless.
