They said the servers wouldn’t be rolled back, but they have been. The torches I placed are gone, and they’re not in the log. Also, the repair hammer shows the auto-decay times as 150 hours even though I set it to 240 yesterday. Worse still, because they didn’t tell us this, those who weren’t informed will have their bases destroyed. It seems the update rollback triggered an unexpected rollback on the servers. Everyone should check their Auto-Decay times with the repair hammer.
Where did they say servers would not be rolled back for the most recent patch?
Yup. That didn’t say anything at all about ‘not rolling back servers’ - most people that read that assumed it meant the servers would rollback.
They said the servers wouldn’t be restored, that it would only cause more problems, and announced they would double xp and double harvest all the servers as compensation
and I guess they accidentally restored all the servers.
It doesn’t say anything about ‘servers not being restored’. It says “We did not take this decision lightly, as we are aware that rolllbacks can be disruptive” etc. It says they’re doubling Xp and harvest rates as 'compensation. Nowhere does it say anything about not rolling back servers. You need to point to more than just a post that doesn’t say what you are saying it says. Where is the quote that says they would not restore/rollback servers?
I can confirm this 100% on 2 out of the 3 servers I played on. 1- There’s two missing torch. . On the 2nd server, I had changed my tribe name; but when I logged in today, I’m back with my old name. There really is a rollback.
Yes. There is a rollback. Just as they announced there would be. That is why they are doubling XP and harvest rates - as compensation for the rollback
You’re being very assertive, so you’re probably right; it’s a translation error. I use Chrome Translate, and I think the AI is drawing a conclusion and translating it that way for me. Actually, Dana gave a politically charged answer, but the AI seems to have already started drawing a conclusion.
And yes, they’ve announced a rollback process. That’s good news. But we need to run an auto-decay check with the repair tool on all servers. Those who reset yesterday will lose everything if they don’t log in for a week.
Ah! That makes a lot more sense.
I could not understand where you were getting that information from - but if you are relying on AI translation that might well explain it. (My 80 year old father was trying to get some of my grandfather’s letters translated by AI and it made up a different story every time - it changed names, it changed places, it changed events - it never once gave an accurate translation.)
In English, what Dana wrote did not say 100% that servers would rollback, but it certainly made it seem very likely. It would have been much more surprising if the servers had not rolled back.
What you are seeing is the result of a rollback on the servers. But for most people that knew the patch was being rolled back, it was expected that would also mean the same for the servers.
Yes - this is a very important point. People who think they have refreshed will need to know tha the rollback has occured or they may not refresh again soon enough.

Yes, this really seems like a simple issue to resolve: it would be enough to adjust the decay time to 14 days instead of 7, returning to the standard at the end of the month. Otherwise, there will be another wave of losses and, if that happens, we won’t be able to blame players for their frustration.
This should already be an established protocol: whenever there are connection problems, rollbacks, or any situation that prevents or confuses a player’s access to renew the decay period, the immediate response should be to extend that time.
Thanks for explaining, I was very confused!
So can anyone confirm, if the 7gb hotfix actually solved the problems it was supposed to. I am seeing some players still sinking in transporter stones post hotfix. As for the other items on the list can anyone confirm there’s an improvement, because as a solo player, the transporter stones were not affecting my game but as for the other stuff, I cannot confirm any major difference in latency or graphics or any other effect prior to and after the update. I wonder did 7gb of code just cancel itself out in the end.
dont bother gathering thralls from the world, they dont listen to your commands, you can’t get them to follow and you cant rescue them as they dont seem to exist in follower pool even though you can see them there. maybe its a sync issue idk
Current decay timer is 10 days.
The team is aware of this issue and currently investigating.
Thank you Dana, i hope we can get this sorted ![]()
