The best way to check is to have hit your own pet/thrall (need PvP enabled) and go in their stats to check their statuses.
Here, it will display whether it is bleeding or gouging!
I did not find “heartseeker daggers” in the admin panel, I think you are talking about Heartsblood instead?
But Heartsblood does work, so whatever daggers you are using, check on your own thrall/pet (make sure they have enough HP tho)
