Hello everyone, with the new update you may of noticed your loot all key is now on Q target lock and can not be changed in the menu. This is gross. here is a tutorial on how to fix that back to old conan keybinds.
first change any keybind in game so that your .ini file populates. if you don’t change something in game first, it will be blank when you try the next steps.
here i changed the toggle sprint for mount since it was something i did not use anyway. then close conan.
MAKE SURE YOU DO NEXT STEPS WHILE CONAN IS NOT RUNNING
ok now to get to the ini file. browse your local file through right clicking the game in your steam library.
![]()
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\Windows
OR steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
![]()
i can never figure out which one it is so try both. i think its the windowsnoeditor that is the one that works.
input.ini open this file in notepad. if its blank go back to first step and make sure you change a keybind in game first.
hit CNTRL + F to open the search menu, and go till it shows these two lines, with the KEY=
ActionMappings=ActionName=“QuickLootNavTakeAll”,bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False,Key=F,bLongPress=False)
you can see in the photo what they are set to. you can make this whatever loot all key you want.
i plan to set mine back to F. and my loot one to Q.
then make sure you save the file.
now boot conan. You should be able to loot npc bodies mid combat without Q locking randomly onto them now when trying to loot all ina big crowd.
remember that conan needs to be closed when you do this or the changes will not save.
