Currently on my server there is someone logged in and the player is appearing as “username hidden” I unsure if this is an admin logged in? Or a glitch? Or maybe an exploit? I have no clue, but I’ve never seen it before, i also cant select them to view profile.
Any ideas?

Hello @Targett99, are you playing on a private server?
There is a new server setting, that is currently off for the official servers, which allows hiding the player names until they speak in voice or text chat, which should help in dealing with offline raiding.
It may still be enabled for private servers though.
I’m on official and there are two people currently hiding username. If you meant to disable it, it didn’t work.
We’ve confirmed it has been temporarily active on some official servers but will be disabled accordingly as it’s unintended.

Why are they off for officials? This is the one place it is needed. I thought this was a great way to allow for people to have to scout their enemies. Hope it gets turned on for PVP servers at least. Showing the amount of players is one thing, but to learn who is on, i should have to scout.

We have a private server for Xbox and are currently struggling with trying to fix this problem, we don’t see any settings to disable username privacy in the player list. Also I do not understand how it would prevent offline raiding? Appreciate if anyone could help us out to find the settings and fix this issue as everyone on the server is getting annoyed and finding it hard to trade with other players.
I have the same problem on my private server, we turn raid on in the weekend since it is an pve-c server. But namelist appairs as hidden player. How do we turn this off? i tried everything, we want to see who is online, now only admins can see it. How to fix it guys? We rent the server by Gportal
@Choocomel on my private server gportal ps4 people are showing to be online is this problem only during pvp time I am only running pve. Can check my setup have not been on gportal site since update
It only happens when we turn on raid in weekend, when we turn off it seems normal again
What’s the setting to turn this off?
There’s a new setting in the General section of the Server Settings tab named ‘Vocal Visibility Duration’.
Setting it to 0, which should be the default value, will disable this feature.
