In most games I move my character using W to move forward and turn left/right using the mouse. This does not seem to work with horses in Conan Exiles. How can I set it up to work that way?
I just want to be be to ride. I will get off the horse to fight. Right now I just run into walls and get dizzy.
The other night I died just before a message that the server was shut down. I jumped on a horse for the first time, thinking I could get there in time. I was totally unable to use the horse, and wasted precious time trying to steer it. Needless to say the body decayed long before I reached it.
Yes, but other people use the horse for fighting, too. And as that is how the game developers meant it to be, the default controls are configured for horseback fighting.
I’m not sure if those controls can be changed in the game settings or by editing the .ini file. I pretty much gave up on horseback riding after my first few attempts because I couldn’t map the controls the way I wanted.
