I locked a guy in my house, and he was looking at the door and dropped explosive jars behind and ran away, i was wondering how he did it, know if it’s the game, glitch or cheat

Are you askin’ how was your enemy able to place a jar in your land claim?
Explosive Jars are exempted from land claim. You can place them practically anywhere in an enemy’s base.

I have 2000 hours of play and I’m a big raider, I know, I’m not saying that, I’m saying that jars appeared behind my locked door
[Jar][door closed][enemy player] as if seeing through the door and positioning the jars behind

You’d be shocked how many people don’t get jar raided and are very unhappy to learn about their placeability.
What you’re describing is classified as a peek exploit. Do you have a recording of it? My suggestion would be to file a report via Zendesk to let them know this could be a server-based or wider phenomenon.
What tier of door and which doorframe were you using? Several of them have been patched for 3.x.

The reason I called SirDaveWolf is because in one of his pvp videos he could look through walls the other rooms, maybe it is a camera adjustment on your settings allowing you to do it!
I don’t touch my settings a lot, I am no good on these things!

Sadly this is a thing, and has been for years. It’s not all that difficult either. They just shove themselves up against the door, pull out a jar, and click place. That easy. Same way you can build without line of sight. It’s a problem with their building/placeables system.

battleeye has been a joke as an anticheat system. and funcom doesn’t care.
cheaters did the same to me, they can put jars inside your base without breaking anything as long it is in their line of sight.
your case sounds like a cheat.
Based on what I hear, this fix may help with some but the biggest offender is still undetected. We shall wait and see I guess, hope the fix improves the situation on officials.
On the pc 1088 server we are having our workbenches and locked chests emptied, and nothing appears in the event log, we lose everything…
100% cheating tool. Not exploits, this is the work of external tools or package manipulation.
