this is a more message to @Funcom before i leave forum for good and yes im not comming back.
funcom you need to begin to change so you keep the players their keep playing you game, when i talk about change i talk about comunication, and in general alot more like how you keep making players playing the game, im saying this becuse of i dont want to see more people leave the game.
im leaving the game after 9 years permanent and im not comming back, the game lack of so many things and lack of bugs fixes you just had a year where you was focus on bugs i will say that was nice to see some of the bugs got fixed but i will not say it was game change, today its the 31 jan and its 9 years since it came on early access and see the past few years how the game have gone silence frome your side pains me becuse the game could have huge potentiale.
im saying this not so people need to stop playing im saying this becuse i want the players their are left keep playing this game as they want to.
its has being over 2 months since you said this 19 November 2025 ( 2026 and Beyond

we got the winter update, but when it comes to the SOON announcement and you put the have more to talk about next year its proof to me after many years you dont want to change, you had plenty of time to fix the game over the years learn frome your mistake but it has not happend and over 2 months with no respond frome your around whats gonna happend in 2026 was one of the last straw for me soon is not 3-4 months.
to every player their keep playing i hope, for your (you players) sake i really hope funcom change their way to behave and stop the silence and fixing the game. but i hope you guys keep having fun in the game
im leaving now i will not com back to forum or any of their website or even follow them anymore, i have left their discords, i hate this and its pains me after 9 years supporting the game, and have to take that step away frome it.
I feel your pain brother. Spending so much time, money and efforts developing your toon and building something fun you can call your own just to be left hanging is real .
I think this is a testament to how a game can influence a persons’ life.
Sometimes its not just “a game”. It’s community, hobbies, your time to suspend your disbelief from reality, be creative and ultimately: have fun.
Some of us have devoted thousands of hours into this game. Invested not only our money but our time and interest.
That means something.
I know you did not make this decision lightly and I understand why you did.
I also know how much you care for the game and the people that made the best parts what it is.
I won’t pretend like it can get better and you’ll change your mind. If that could happen, it would be great. If it doesn’t though, remember that you do have amazing memories to think fondly on.
My friend, the communication bit is the bare minimum. It doesn’t have to be transparent to divulge secrets, just community building and bonds with us. We don’t need to be their best friends or feel exclusive. Just heard and acknowledged via that communication. It would make us believe in the project.
I know we hoped hard for a response to the letter sent to CEO Rui Casais. A lot of loving effort went into it and hope that it made a difference.

I keep playing because of all the friends my late wife and I have made since the game came out on Playstation many we made on Forum but I understand Personally I keep it up to make myself new friends. Granted I only play on my personal server’s have met people from around the world it’s broaden my horizons witch is good for a old depressed shit makes me struggle along @Hiveshadow . Enjoy your self do what you need to do
When playerbase loses one more of its foundations. It makes me wonder how long it will take and whole building collapses?
One can make jokes, but ugly truth is that main reason why @Hiveshadow has made his choice affects us all. Eulogies would be better approach what comes to this game and Funcom in general.
Gamers are usually focused individuals with strong values regarding their game and a dedication that can end up being both positive and negative. They can be loud, angry and exhausting, but also loyal and passionate. Perhaps we are not always easy to deal with, and sometimes we may set our standards too high, but those who do not communicate and remain silent are always in the wrong. Take this to heart, Funcom.
I didn’t know you, but putting down a game that you obviously love is a sin I would never forgive myself for as a real game developer. I hope you find a new passion.
