Improved Quality of Life for Enhanced?

Does anyone have a clue when Improved Quality of Life will be updated to Enhanced? Will not play without it, lol. Singleplayer, so can’t use ToT Custom.

No idea about IQoL. But apparently you can use Tot Custom in singleplayer, it’s just if there’s a problem with it, we won’t get any help. (Alternatively, if the dedicated launcher info doesn’t seem too complicated, it is apparently possible to run a dedicated server on your own machine and also still be the client - sounds like it shouldn’t be much different load for the machine that running singleplayer, since singleplayer is basically doing the same thing within one program. Then you can use Tot mods and get support as well…)

Can confirm, it works in single player. Haven’t encountered any difficulties so far.

I had huge issues with collision in singleplayer using tot…has this been fixed a bit? Like you would get hit by enemy attacks when you were a good ways away or behind them…

Ah, that’s from ToT? Then yes, seems to be still there.

Update: Okay, don’t use ToT on single player. It apparently f’ed up my save.

:frowning:
Sorry to hear that. But thanls for letting us know. (People keep telling me “no go ahead, ToT is ‘fine’ in singleplayer” - I even got a bunch of mockery on a discord channel because “not supported doesn’t mean the same as doesn’t work”, despite me making clear that I knew the difference between the two statements…)

To add some details: I tried removing ToT Sudo and ToT Custom to check if the hit box issue really comes from them. Apparently, I cannot remove Sudo any more without causing the game to crash to desktop when loading the save.

There’s probably some way to fix that, but… sigh Well, that’s how life is like when you’re a mod-a-holic.

Most likely you simply have other mods that depend on it and has nothing to do with breaking your save.

That was probably it. Removed all mods and added them back one by one; now it works again (without ToT).

Thanks for the hint, though!

Fashionist can (now) change thrall appearance apparently. It seems to work like this:

  • Create a Fashionist mirror (handcrafted).
  • Use the mirror (from inventory or hotbar).
  • Create the apperance you want for the thrall on your character.
  • Click “Create Shard”.
  • Put the Shard into the thrall’s inventory and use it there.
  • Use the mirror again to switch back to your old appearance.

Bit weird, but works fine. This time without hit box problems, I hope. -)

It certainly used to be possible to do it (in the UE4 version) without having to change your character’s appearance along the way. I’ll have a fiddle with it tomorrow and see if I can figure out the old sequence

Ok, got it figured out again -

  1. Create the Fashionist Mirror

  2. Use the mirror (from hotbar or inventory)

  3. Click “create shard”

  4. Place the shard into follower’s inventory and ‘use’

  5. Select ‘Capture’ to change the shard to a copy of the follower

  6. back to your own inventory, select ‘use’

  7. select ‘Edit Shard’ and make all the appearance changes you want to apply, then save the changes

  8. Put the shard back into the follower’s inventory, check all the boxes for elements that you want to be changed. Select ‘Apply’. The follower should now look like you want them to.

If you want to save a copy of their original unchanged appearance that you can reset them to (for some reason) - at step 7 instead of saving the changes ‘create shard’ should create a new shard with the changed appearance, leaving the old shard unchanged (I’m a bit less sure about this option, but it’s how it should work).

So no word on IQoL then, whether it will be upgraded to UE5? Sad…

Think 5 of mods I used have updated… several seem like they never will, since creators have made no comments. =/

I can live with out a few of them, But IQoL was kinda Hard Req. ToT was never a fan. (sadly a requirement for a few mods..)

A common problem is that my thralls lose their pants. I can’t say exactly how often it happens, but every now and then I come across one without pants…

What!? How? When? Why?

Seriously, I’ve never seen this. Anybody got an idea what causes this?

I don’t know if it’s the only cause, but several people have reported their thralls losing pants after using the latrine. (I believe there’s a living settlements component to that one, but I could be wrong).
