Insane Thrall/Pen conversion speed increase since Age of War

Greetings everyone!

As the title suggests I’ve experienced a huge increase in taming/conversion speed of companions on multiple servers (both oficial and private). Under best conditions tier 4 thralls are converted in a matter of minutes despite the settings being set to 1.0.

Is this intended to be that fast, or is it some kind of bug?

Kind greetings and thanks in advance

It is intended by the devs… But it is seriously too fast, no balance at all :notlikethis:

In the single, with the 1.0 experience gain settings now, on the contrary, it has become slower to level the follower, and much more so.

@Teng,

its not about leveling thralls, its the taming time (wheel of pain).

AoW reduced thrall conversion time down to 15 minutes per tier of thrall.

That’s 1 hour for a T4.

But taskmasters still do their thing too. A T4 taskmaster increases crafting time by 150%, bringing an hour down to 24 minutes.

But even that wasn’t good enough. The booster event halves conversion time on official servers, allowing a T4 thrall to be converted in 12 minutes.

It is absolutely ridiculous, in my opinion.

The server settings still allow you to get pre Age of War times. You can try adjusting that.

If you’re server owner isn’t open to that idea then you’ll need to decide if the issue is enough for you to consider moving. This is not a game issue at this point.

In fact, it gives us server admins more control over how much we want to adjust. Its much easier (especially for consoles) to adjust the times up than they are down.

It’s intentional! Have fun :+1:t6:

I’m sorry, I’m inattentive.

Current system seems to be produce thralls faster, to counter balance slower leveling and greater fragility.

The Boosters are to make up for the lost thralls when Nemedian foundations turned against their masters.
