Bug Description:
Invisible corpse.
Bug Reproduction:
Got killed, reloaded into game. Went to where corpse marker was, but no corpse anywhere to be found.
Check the event log, it may have taken you too long to reach your body and the corpse expired. They do not last indefinitely.
Will do, thanks. My reload did get interrupted by the Xbox deciding it had to update NOW. How long do you have before the corpse expires do you know?
The loot marker was still on the map…
Yeah the loot marker will remain sometimes a few minutes after the actual body disappears. If you’re ever unsure again just check the event log and it will tell you if your items got lost. I can’t recall the exact time you have to go to it but I’m going to guess somewhere between 10-15 minutes. I know if you’re all the way across the map (on either map) you have zero chance of getting the body, unless you teleport.
Ah right, it was definitely more than 15 minutes while the xbox updated itself then, so yeah, this is the solution, many thanks. I was confused by the death/loot marker persisting on the map. Cheers.
Yeah I have no clue why the marker persists sometimes after the deletion. I’m sure it’s on Funcom’s list of things to fix.
