hey funcom is their any way we will get to see the crossbows agian to the game.
@den im curios becuse back in early access they was removed frome the game but really want to know if you guys have any plan on bringing them back to the game

This one had so very much hoped we would see them make a triumphant return during the Age of War.
They already exist in the game.
Their stats are not very good, but they exist as does their ammo (just like primeval bracers and the now I craftable Drowned Ones gear), dusting them off and letting them into general population would be very nice.

They used to be available to spawn in the admin panel.
Crossbow and Seprentman Crossbow.
When they first added creative mode and the ability to unlock all recipes, they could be crafted at the carpenter bench in admin mode.
This one has a whole stack of them on their (unmodded) single player game.
Much like the lantern shield and wolves of Sennu NPCs. They exist in the code and function, they just aren’t generally accessible.

i hope dennis or just some one frome funcom can give us a status if they will bring them back becuse they could be so good to use in deffending agianst purge and your base and have a lot of run making doungons
i really miss the crossbow trhalls you could get frome the stone ship cannot remember their name

There is a not insignificant amount of interesting content hidden in the code of the game that would be very nice to see dusted off, cleaned up, and redeployed.
Crossbows are an excellent example. A projectile with a flatter travel arc, faster shot, but more limited max range and slower reload (and they do have a reload animation) with no power shot option would fill a nice niche. Spice up the ranged combat a bit.

Even if the answer is possibly but in the distant future, it is still something to work with.
Then again, a developer may not want to trap themselves behind a hard no answer.
Even if there are currently no plans, saying no will immediately bring groans from those who want it, and if, in the future, there is a decision that there is time and desire to do so, there will be incessant accusations of waffling.
So, while this one would prefer answers, this one cannot really expect them, and must respect the reasons why they may not be forthcoming.
Also, he is probably very busy with the current thrall vortex and other… unintended quirks of the settlement system .
