Is it the game or my Ps4

I just got a blue screen with the Cannot continue using the application. The data for the following application is corrupted. Delete the application from the PS4, and then download it from the [library] on the home screen. Now, I had this happen before, and I contacted Funcom support, and I got a message back simply saying “completed,” and it has worked for months. also, a few of my single-player games did that, but once reinstalled are fine. The Elder Scrolls is constantly doing that. So, Is it perhaps my PS4 is messed up?

Hi @GhostPromise and welcome to the community! It may well be that it is a little from column A and a little from column B. The game does not exactly run smoothly on playstation as a whole, and this includes the ps5. However, on ps4 it is REALLY struggling. I know this as my partner still plays on ps4. Unfortunately after over 5.5 years of growth and additions, the ps4 really struggles to run Conan Exiles now. While the experience will not be perfect, it will run better on ps5 if and when you make the switch.

For now, I would strongly advise that you buy a USB or two and back up your saved game data periodically. Has it started to run ok since, or still no progress?

I had an issue when I still played on my PS4. I added a memory upgrade, and it smoothed it out a little.

As it is, PS5 with a 4tB stick still crashes on occasion.

I used to play on ps4 and depending on the vintage of your console, it might be worth vacuuming it out. Kinda depends on where you put it, how long you’ve had it etc.

I just rebuilt the system storage thing again, because I redownloaded Cyberpunk and was playing it last night and it said the corrupted thing just clicking on it, and after I rebuilt the database it vanished, I mean the save game file is in storage but it is like cyberpunk never was there,I cued up conan again and let him stand in his base for close to ten minutes and no corrupted message, so I really am lost as what is going on. Though Pathfinder WOTR is still working, so I don’t know. Thanks to all that have replied.

On PS4? I hear (an external) SSD will help finish off the PS4

Be careful of the overload when cleaning fans.

Well, I meant after you hold the power button down twice, go into safe mode, and select rebuild database, make the fourth time now. So far the only options I got were to, restore the licenses (which were all stored except two of the ESO chapters but I did buy them). and Initialize it,which mean I would lose everything on my ps4 I have been told

Yall got to blow those things.

I just opened it up after watching a video on how to. It had barely any traces of dust, but what traces there were, I cleaned them.

P.S. Those PS4s are locked on to its warranty. The PS5 gives us a new standard to work on. I want the PS5 DE PRO, but I’m in no hurry. The raytracing is fascinating, and the Digital Edition with foveated rendering… supposedly very good… (and the HDD) has shown its age.
