The only solution to this is to either play solo or rent your own sever and set your own rules.

Private servers have limits on the size and number of bases—some quite strict. Administrators demolish anything that exceeds these limits. I play solo and the whole world is mine, so I build as much as I want. But I wouldn’t have done that when playing online.
