Bug Description:
Server keeps timing out when trying to connect. It is the only server that will not connect for me. FunComID is Seripis#82499
Bug Reproduction:
Its just wont log in. Times out and crashes client. no error messages
Your server is part of the many being taken down by a cheater using some exploit to overload the server so it crashes and no one can login but the server stays online, either DDoS or some other exploit.
Hopefully funcom has paused decay timers on your server as they have not paused it on many of them.
^^this. My server was being hit by the hackers and the decay was still on while it was down. Luckily they’ve stopped ddosing that server in particular and no one, thankfully, lost anything. Not sure why funcom is having issues with an extremely basic form of ddos to the point of allowing so many servers to be down all at once for weeks. It’s kinda embarrassing for them at this point.
