Item transfer from inventory to hot bar results in the item vanishing

Something new has come up.
Moving either weapons or tools from inventory to hot bar results in them vanishing. First time it was a basic hunting bow. Second time it was a stone hatchet.
Both items vanished during the transfer from inventory to the hot bar.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

1. Create a tool or weapon. (Normally goes into an empty slot in the hot bar)
   a. Ensure the hot bar is full.
2. Build structure pieces
3. Move a tool or weapon from the hot bar to the inventory. (replace it with a structure piece).
   a. Build a small structure. (foundation, door, 3 walls, ceiling tile and door) Sandstone.
4. When finished, Attempt to return the item to the hot bar.
   RESULT
5. Tool or weapon vanish during the transfer.
