Tried three times, ‘assign high priest to the alter’ doesn’t seem to work. Yes I know it means named priest, the only one I know of is the lady ’ thiera the faithful’
Just found Ansgar and he worked but lady didn’t. Is she bugged or could it be like a lag thing?
It only works with an arch priest or named priest. It’s a typo.
I did have a name priest. And it still didn’t work I had to use a different named priest.
Ah, my bad. I didn’t read the whole comment. Yeah, idk. I used a named priest in derketo for mine and it worked fine. It was a female I know because she was in there, then I placed a male high priest and he didn’t work. I put her back in and it worked. So, maybe an isolated issue? Did you already have her in there before activating the journey step? Or did you place her afterwards?

It’s okay I understand. She was already in there like two steps before I got to that point. I guess I got lucky. I tried removing her and putting her back in several times and it didn’t work. So I did something else and found a new one and stuck him in there.

At least you got it to work. As I’ve seen, journey step bugs are sometimes inconsistent across players. I have a bug on the purge one that didn’t count when I put a thrall in the wheel. So… yeah. They got work to do.
Me and my friends and Friends of Friends generally all agree that you shouldn’t be making a next game until you get the first one right. The first one needs to be perfect before you move on to the next one. Otherwise you just creating jump and problems for yourself both physically in financially in the long run. You’re better off just doing it right the first time.
