Keyboard use for signs/notes bug

I’m assuming this is not only on PS4, but that’s my system, so reporting here.

Whenever I’m using the onscreen keyboard to type on signs or notes, if somebody walks by my character, I get dropped out of the text entry screen and lose everything I’ve written. Extremely frustrating with notes especially, I not only get dropped out of the text entry screen, but my screen freezes and I need to close the game and load again.

Please fix this.
