Kill demonic bats challenge cannot be completed

Bug Description:

Kill 3 demonic bats battlepass challenge cannot be completed

Bug Reproduction:

I have killed every type of bat in the game currently found on the Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah. None of them count towards the kill demonic bats challenge. I have also tried spawning them in via admin panel without success.

Demonic means the one-skull (mini bosses). On Exiled Lands you can find very easily at one of the four caves (Bin-Yakinā€™s Seal, The Scraps, Lockstone and Jhillā€™s Roost) on the edge of the snow.

Iā€™m not sure where you would find one-skull bats in Siptah but I know you can no longer spawn in enemies to kill for Battle Pass credit. Instead, simply give yourself admin privileges and teleport to the caves.

That challenge is not bugged, it works just fine if you know what youā€™re looking for. :wink:

I know this is nitpicky and I apologize in advance for it, but the challenge is ā€œKill Demonic Batsā€ right? Not Kill Children of Jhil or Harpies, which is what those creatures in those caves are. It definitely seems bugged, or at the very least mislabled.

I know there was a similar issue with the ā€œKill Dragonsā€ quest, where it gave credit for killing normal dragons but not for killing any of the dragon world bosses. Just weird design choices that donā€™t make sense, per the usual.

You can also kill the white bat boss in UC and the one on top of the tower of the bats and for Siptah the bat in Luxor (above the judge). All 3 count as demonic bats.

No, they donā€™t. I killed all the bats in the UC and am still sitting at 0 demonic bats killed. There is no bat in Luxor, it is another Jhil.

The one-skull Jhill bats (the black ones) count as ā€œdemonic.ā€

I just got done testing that, and Iā€™m still at 0 of 3. The Children of Jhil and the bosses, their equivalents on Siptah, and that one Jhil boss above the Judge, DO NOT COUNT towards completing this challenge.

I guess you killed it wrong, I killed the UC bat 3 times to complete mine. Sorry bud. :frowning:

Yeah, heā€™s using the ā€œkillā€ command as admin because itā€™s more important that he finds a bug than it is for him to complete his challenge. :roll_eyes:

Youā€™ve likely already completed this challenge based on above feedback, but if not, the ā€˜Tower of Batsā€™ Demonic Bat respawns relatively fast so beating it down is relatiively easy - even if you are just shooting it down from nearby.

No, I am not. Iā€™m doing as you said, teleporting to their locations and clearing them out. But you assume what you want.

And you are killing it without using the Admin Kill command - as in you are killing it with weapons?

I know that killing that bat works for the Challenges because thatā€™s what I killed over and again.

Yes, Iā€™m using weapons. In fact, Iā€™ve never used the kill command to ever kill anything in this game.

same here (official server online), killed the bat on the bat tower and the one skull jil guys - does not count

Update: relogged and now the challenges count
