BattlePass Challenges are a Gambling Game now?

So, completing the BattlePass Challenges is a game of luck now?
Both the demonic hyena and the croc do not have a fixed spawnpoint in the Exiles Lands and now i have to run around NoobRiver in the hopes i find one of these.
(I did like 4 rounds there yesterday - no luck so far)
It feels like i am waisting my time here by killing stuff that gives little to none xp for the overall Battlepassprogress just to maybe just maybe get the xp for the challenges.

BattlepassChallenges shouldnt involve Challenges that are luck bases, we all have a real life too you know?

Please consider removing Challenges like that from the Battlepass and just give us task that we know where to fullfill it, dont waste our time like thatā€¦

Screw that hyena apparently some of the one scull named thralls at the noob river count as Demonic so just kill the it much easier.:grin:

Demonic Creatures felt semi-bugged for me, as Bat Demons didnā€™t count. However, Iā€™ve heard some of the dragons hatchlings count, alongside lions and regular corrupted creatures. I did my three on the Albino Bat Demon atop the Tower of Bats.

You also canā€™t spawn any enemy in to kill them in admin mode, they simply donā€™t give progress to challenges or Battle Pass XP, but there are guaranteed spawns of creatures that count as ā€˜demonicā€™

Demonic creatures = one skull ones.

Either the random ones that spawns instead of a normal ennemis, but also fix ones, like the Albinos bat, the ā€œgoblinā€ kings, etc

Thereā€™s a guaranteed 1 scull named fighter thrall that spawns just near Cannibals Rest they count as demonic you can just farm them.:grin:

This one killed 4 dragons, identical dragons.
That counted for 3 demonic creatures killed.

Very bizarre.

Npcs spawned via Pippi or Tot!Admin spawners count.

Well the challenges ask specifically for a croc or a hyena, so i dont see why any other 1SkullBoss should work.
IĀ“ll give it a try but i dont think it will do the trick as i killed some others alreadyā€¦

Well i dont have either of that mods and play on not modded serversā€¦and this shouldnĀ“t be the solution.

Admin spawned creatures dont work, my admin helped me trying.

Just another reason to NEVER play this game unmodded. Once I discovered these jerks nerfed spawning in the critters you need so they donā€™t count for you anymore I just brought up the interactive map for Savage Wilds (a FAR superior map to the Exiled Lands) and simply teleported to where the bosses were and whipped out the allowed progress in minutes. I paid for your battlepass Funcom, how I complete it SHOULD be up to me. I realize your ā€œparent companyā€ is run by control freaks who actually hate your players and just view us a cash cows but ffs TRY to act like you still gave a flying leap. Iā€™m also not happy with the way youā€™ve nerfed the battlepass to literally slow down progress. I only buy the bloody ting for the pretty shinies. Let me have them. I PAID for them. Depending on just how much all this waiting ends up annoying me thereā€™s a pretty good chance itā€™ll be the last one I buy. Modders typically do your job far better anyway. Thereā€™s nothing in here I canā€™t live without. Bear that in mind.

And yeah, with every ā€œgame updateā€ you do Iā€™m reminded of why I wonā€™t be buying Dune or ANY future game from you. Way to go.

Of course, if it ask for a specific demonic hyena of croc, then itā€™s a hyena or a croc.

But I was talking for this week challenge of killing 3 demonic creatures that many of us have. In fact the strange thing here is that youā€™re the only one Iā€™ve seen with those challenges, all others players iā€™ve talked to have : kill 5 giant creatures, kill 5 world bosses and kill 3 demonic creatures :sweat_smile:

Scourgestone croc works.
So even if you donā€™t want to use mods just kill it in single player.

Also you can just queue craft items and get your BP exp.
Even with xp caps the new system is extremely user friendly and easy to level.
If even this version is too hard to graspā€¦oh well go pay for your levels.

the tiny baby dragons near the red mother count for demonic for some reason

Since the scourgestone croc did work, i am gonna try the Werehyenas at the middle of the Den for the other challenge.
I report back later after i did find one there and killed it.

Soo, it did work!

Summary for all those who have these 2 BattlePassChallenges too:

In order to fulfill the challenge ā€œDefeat Demonic Crocodileā€ kill the Boss in Gallamanā€™s Tomb.

For the challenge ā€œDefeat Demonic Hyenaā€ go to ā€œThe Denā€ and hope the Miniboss Werehyena in the middle is there and kill it.

(To be honest, i was today years old when i learned from the wiki that there are actually 2 different werehyena minibosses - Rake and Claw) :upside_down_face:

Both solutions are much easier than running around NoobRiver and hoping a 1Skullboss croc or hyena will spawnā€¦

Yeah, I was syurprised to see the challenge progress after I killed Rabid Milly.

I can understand why someone might call her demonic, butā€¦
