Bug Description:

Kit icon absent from modified tools and weapons

Bug Reproduction:

1. Add a kit to a tool or a weapon, by dragging the kit onto it. The icon will get a magenta backdrop, confirming that it has been modified.
2. Expected: A small icon to the right, inside the item icon, like armor still gets.
   Observed: The tool/weapon only has a colored background, with no icon indicating the installed mod.

My observation is that roughly half of the times, I get the icon. Until I put venom, or something similar on the weapons, and when the venom depletes, it leaves a blank purple background, no icon, like yours.
