Lost dungeon set and other curved pieces

Could Funcom please make it so that the curved pieces of the lost dungeon set and other sets that have curved pieces such as the Turanian, can actually be rotated? Trying to build anything out of these is an exercise in frustration. They also don’t snap into existing pieces much at all, but that wouldn’t be as big of an issue if I could actually rotate said pieces and align them myself.

The lack of curved foundations makes the problem worse, as One MUST place the curved pieces on a square foundation, and then just look at them in despair as they refuse to point the right way and cant be rotated.

I have found that if you change your position then it will change the position of the piece. So it seems to be connected to where you are standing.

If they were cool lol…
They would go through each of the building sets and add round ceiling tiles and round foundations.
No the triangular or edge foundations and ceiling tiles are not the same, actual round pieces is what we need and round walls.

Sometimes building pieces seem to care about the underlying foundation’s alignment. So even though the foundation is symmetrical on all sides, one of them is the “front” side.

Usually this problem doesn’t persist, and once you place something on the foundation (or pillar), then remove it, and try to place the thing you originally wanted, you can rotate it like you wanted.

I have not tested this on the curved wall pieces, though.

This is one of those times I think they over thought the process. These should have the same “wall” aspect as the original lost dungeon in that it’s a 3d spacial image and just allow rotation. The art of all rounded areas should just be standardized so that you can mix and match them and maintain the seam.

The point here is still that almost all building pieces can be simply rotated with the mousewheel, without having to care about any underlying or connecting pieces. However, certain few cant, and these circular pieces are one of those.

This should be fixed. I dont want you to help me deal with this issue, I want the devs to FIX IT.

I’ll keep this in mind for the future. Would you be opposed to my sharing possibly helpful advice for the other players’ benefit, though? I mean, even if you refuse my help, someone else might not.
