Understanding building with 'lost dungeon' pack

First my questions. can you guys or the maker of this set give it a complete set ( flat celieng tiles and triangular peices, ramps etc.) ? Can you please fix the placement limitations this set seems to be plagued with? Its a neat set but as is feels incomplete and broken. Im not sure if its a bug thing or what. Lost Dungeon pack just seems broken or if not extremely limited in how you can use it. i cant seem to find much on this set so im posting it here.
my first problem is getting it to accept pieces to join with its unique staricase set. ive managed to build some intricate and annoying dungeons with it but it was very difficult to get pieces to work together as they seem they should.
The hallway looking pieces will only attach to the side of foundation peices and at that, are forced to create a dead end and only in some cases have i been able to use them at all.
this may seem just like a couple of small things but the set is insanely limited as to how it can be used.

im not running ANY mods.

Does anyone know a work around or have any tips on getting these pieces to play nicely.. or place nicely rather

i made a really neat base it was a castle in the water, the tunnel system the lost dungeon has, i basically made a maze/tunnel system underwater that i knew very well with vaults hidden it was deeep down so u dropped in through a hatch swim down and maze.. the only bug i have is the spiral staircase and the curved wall needs some work.

I actually Mainly Build in the Lost Dungeon Set as it is My Favorite.

The Lost Dungeon pieces do work kind of wonky.

There is only one single piece that counts as a foundation (not counting the pillar). The rest of the 4x4 cubes aren’t actually foundations and can only ‘stick’ to other pieces.
