Midnight Grove bug when killing followers

Basic Info:

Platform: Steam
Issue Type: Gameplay
Game Mode: Single Player
Server Type: PvE
Map: Exiled Lands
Server Name: =SERVER NAME=
Mods: =MODS=

Bug Description:

In Midnight Grove I ran into the issue when I killed one of the followers before even getting to any mini boss. I’d get the message that said something along the lines of “0 emote not found…”. When that happens I’m not able to move or do anything except attack (unarmed) while everything around me works normally and I don’t take any damage, neither do the enemies. I turned off all mods and it happened again somewhere further down the road at the area with Diego from Ice Age creatures. I haven’t run into any kind of bugs that hinder me from progressing in the game and I’m level 60 with almost all journeys finished, so I have no idea how to work around this except maybe running through all enemies, but that kind of kills the point of the dungeon.

Bug Reproduction:

Enter Midnight Grove - kill enemies

It sounds like the bug where you’re initiating a fatality. For whatever reason it does not work in dungeons, while it starts, it disarms you, you cannot control your character and they’re invulnerable until it completes its attempt and shows the error banner.

Fatalities themselves are highly jacked at the moment since any attack can initiate them. I suggest that once you see an NPC in a dazed state or 20 and below HP, avoid them so you don’t initiate the fatality sequence.

I was killing them in one hit (star metal great axe) with charging attacks, so I didn’t initiate a fatality as far as I could see.

Thank you for reaching out to us and welcome to our community!

Situations like yours may occur due to the usage of Mods in your game. Turning them off may not solve the issue unfortunately. Instead, we suggest that you completely uninstall your Mods in order to see if your game returns to normal.

Additionally, please verify your files by going to your Conan Exiles on Steam → right click it and go to ‘‘Properties’’ → Installed Files → and click to ‘‘Verify integrity of game files’’.

Do let us know if these solutions helped you in fixing your issue please!

@Kikigirl is correct.
