Jumped down into the bull arena, killed the bull and found there is noway out? Had to kill myself and claim my body. so much for that journey step !!!

You might have rushed that decision as there is a way out, the dungeon is completely fine. Probably you just didn’t notice the path leading up in the back.

Yes there is a path with the gate closed. I logged out and tried it again , same result.
I just tested it, works just fine, as soon as I kill the bull the stone blocking the pathway up the hill sinks into the ground and opens the way.
Maybe you should fill out the template, especially on what server you play and whether you’re using any mods that could potentially interfere with this behavior.
Personally, I have done that dungeon plenty of times and never had an issue with it.
