I think the misguided party on this instance is WAK, but express what you may.
The intent to follow up on the series of videos concerning the issue at hand, of course, one would expect a matter the size of an Era would be the first thing someone who has created multiple videos concerning the issue woud warn his followeres about, me included, but you know what, I shall direct my “kinda irkness” wherever I see fit. I refer you to my previous reply as a final answer, this personal argument is cluttering my post and throwing it off topic.
Ya, he did say he discovered it but not in the way you’re implying. You have to remember that not everyone comes HERE and even if they do, might just glance.
I completely get your frustrations in all of this because I feel the same way too. But getting angry at another player because you think they’re supposed to be so strict in their delivery? It just creates division among the player base.
You’re right, you can be irked but what I’m imploring you to do is be fair and perhaps not “petty”, in effect throwing off your own damn topic.
I didn’t know it was happening on the testlive servers. If so, you’re right, it should’ve been addressed before release. I don’t know what foundation sink you’re talking about. I only play on SP for years now, so maybe that’s a bug on officials that I don’t experience. I remember a lot of bugs, like I said, many very annoying minor ones that took a long time to get fixed. But I don’t remember a legit game-breaking bug that wasn’t fixed in a somewhat reasonable time. But maybe I’m remembering wrong. I may let my love of the game cloud my judgement.
Morning, do you know if the steaming bag of dung was turned off in official already? @Tolomeo and a whole lot of folk would like to know. I am a Single Player person and cannot answer the question.
I doubt anyone there is stupid, they simply don’t care, they do not give a shit about you, or I, or anyone one on their player base, not one single bit. All they care about is taking your money, that’s all they think about.
Would seem stupid in deed to take such an enormous dump on a player base the likes few games can boast about, instead of fostering the link with their base so they can grow. Instead, anyone thinking about buying the game and having the lucidity to research the official forums for two seconds, would hit themselves with the door on their way out of the store page. It is counterintuitive, but the problem here is greed, not stupidity, in my view.
God dude/dudette, I SO hope all folk in your position could be made whole again. Those lost thralls are simply gone, no one at Funcom is going to give a flying flamingo f^*k for anyone’s enormous loss of time. Never, in my entire life did I aspire to be a millionare; I take joy in simple things and to me money is a necessary evil, but today, I SO wish I had money so I could purchase the rights to this game and focus on what matters: you, I, their loyal fan base at large, but I reckon buying that next car and a bigger house is more important to them. One can dream, I guess.
Well, here we go, at least they are having the common decency of sparing the official players from their greed, mediocrity and absolute lack of professionalism and work ethics; they are turning off their super-duper, uber new feature “Leaving Settlements” on our poor brothers and sisters in Official Servers… at frigging last!!! Sheeeeesh that took long enough, but those thralls, the ones you spent months… hell, even years gathering, at something like .2 chance of spawning, they are lost for good, and there is not a damn thing Funcom is going to do about that, you are, henceforth, screwed. But you can rest easy now, if you are on Official, because they have at least acknowledged, eons after they should have, that I, for one, am sick and frigging tired of being their free beta tester! I am not a f^%ing Guiney pig, dammit!.
I confirm that they have removed the tick on settlements in total silence like a thief breaking into your house in the middle of the night.
I hope that when, if there is ever a when, they reactivate the settlements they have the decency to warn the community so that everyone can be prepared and protect themselves from any unwanted adverse effects
Good evening, sorry, one question.
Is it known if they have fixed the disappearance of the bartenders? I would like to do the purges to get them but if they disappear I will be angry.
Thank you all
I’m hoping they put Living Settlements back on, after they fix the Green Ghost problem. Not sure if anyone posted it above (hard to go through all the comments), but what was happening was the Green Ghost positions create no “Home” position when you place them there. So, as soon as they started moving around, they’d invariably get stuck somewhere, and the normal protocol of “Returning Home” in that contingent took them to a default “Home” position which was 0,0,0 up in the air somewhere. The workaround solution was simply to NEVER place them in any Green Ghost position. Just place them on any solid floor or walkable area away from workstation or any Green Ghost spot. They’d start moving around and if they had to “Return Home” they’d return to that solid space you originally placed them. (This is what I was doing without knowing and so I wasn’t losing any thralls at all and was wondering why everyone else was freaking out.)
I guess since the Green Ghost spots were important to the devs and failing to make them create a “Home” position was a bad mistake, they probably want to fix that so you can still choose those Green freely.
But I hope that they are actually working on fixing that now, as opposed to just turning off the Living Settlements. It is a little sad that the thralls are just standing in one spot now.
Anyway, hoping for an update soon.
