Bug Description:
Moving items from inventory to crafting station or chest is difficult if sorting isnt set to none, it either wont let me or make it very difficult.
Bug Reproduction:
Set inventory and target chest or station to different sorting and try to move items with either a controller or mouse

Set sorting to None. Should make it easier for you
I appreciate the quick answer but honestly, I do not believe you need a video, it is easy to reproduce and I know its not me, my gf plays on another pc and same issues. It was not doing that 1 or 2 year ago, something was messed up with a patch.
Yeah I did but its annoying we cannot sort items. It already is a nightmare to manage compared to similar games that automatically organise things in storage by category
I’ve noticed that this issue consistently happens when I have multiple war paints or trudgens in my inventory. Sometimes,dropping the items and turning off the sort will fix the issue for the moment, other times I actually lose items.
It’s a very well known bug that has been reported over and over again since the inventory UI overhaul. There is report after report after report all over these forums and some people have included videos already. Still no update on how they’re going to actually fix it.
