I’ve battled cheaters for years and stopped playing altogether a year or so ago. I came back recently. Day 2 or 3 the usual cheaters emerged. Killing you from miles away, looting chests and vaults in base etc etc. So I guess nothing has changed.

The sad truth for anyone not cheating on conan pvp is that you may last a while and even outsmart the cheaters to some extent with your loot but you will be fighting a seemingly endless battle until the cheaters finally get fed up and mass report you for some building infringements or something ridiculous to get you banned (I have 2 accounts banned in this fashion).

I hope one day they finally fix it but since it been going on for years now and they have new games to think about I doubt it ever will.

Maybe I’ll try again next year…

Body vault often. Rip bracelet and before you respawn log out to avoid knowledge wipers. (No physical body means they can’t do anything to you)
I hear rumor there is a way to force a fatal error that makes your body disappear until you log back in or server restarts. This would allow you to have a full inventory and avoid some hackers for a short while.
Only a handful of hackers have vacuum. From my understanding only 3 or 4 can knowledge wipe and have admin panel access.

There is a fix, tried it, but I have no idea when Funcom will release it. Patience.
