I started cleaning up my old account to resuscribe after many years and decided to delete two low level characters to clear character slots.
I successfully deleted the first one, but when I tried to delete the second one, the system deleted the first character in the list, which was the character I had been playing the last two months.
Can anyone help me recover that character back? It seems to have been deleted incorrectly by the system.
It would be very frustrating to start a new character from scratch and loose all progress on that class.
You can’t recover the character yourself.
You will likely need to do a /petition from within the game and ask a GM for help, and hope for the best.
In the future, whenever you are trying to do anything from the character selection screen, make sure it is the right character which is selected.
After deleting one character, the focus will shift to some semi-random one. If left idle, focus will also change from one character to another after a while.
So make sure to select the right one before doing anything.

About the deletion of the character, I was seeing the character I wanted to delete in the middle of the screen. It was the second one I was deleting that night. Had no problem with the first one. On the second one, the system deleted the first one in the list. The one I was playing the most.
i had once just the same error in making as you had now - means was deleting few toons and while first was correct to what i wanted to achieve - the second was on the same rail as yours - means if its there on the list - and displays as correct - its not - you have to manually tab the right one - as in mine and as in yours case it deleted my main - first on the list

this kind of petition is very easy to solve by GMs but when you make petition in game - there is the awaiting period - and what is vital is that i think character that were deleted for more than 30 days are permad at it

best for you is to attach support ticket number in here in post and call like this for solving this out from help desk guys who are dealing with this kind of problems as it - petitions or community managers - @AndyB@Spynosaur_Nicole@Umborls
