I tried to transmog/reskin 1 of the new “Sweeping” spears. I believe it was War Spear of the Black Circle. Not entirely sure.
Tried transmog with a Starmetal Spear and it gave me an error message.
Wondering if the new “sweeping” move set is preventing the transmog?

Yes, you can only illusion weapons with the exact same move set.
That has always been the restriction for weapons, so now that some of the spears got a new move set, they are no longer compatible as illusions.
Hopefully they fully separate the two weapon types soon.
Glaives and Pikes. They are not the same.
Does anyone have any older weapons that were cross-teans-mogged back when they shared a moveset?
