Hello everyone. I just started the game but when I had the chance to download Battleye I opted out. I since discovered that in order to play Online I need to download it. I tried from the Battleye sight but it came up as a potentially ‘Dangerous download’. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you.
On the load screen where you chose to launch/continue, Click “more” and select install battleeye.
I don’t think you actually need Battleye to play online. You just need it to play on Battleye protected servers, which all the official ones are. You should still be able to play on private servers that don’t have Battleye.
I tried that. The servers not using Battleye all seem to need passwords to get into.
